Building National Capacity to Treat Intense Behaviors in Autism

People with profound autism frequently experience intense behaviors. They languish in emergency rooms and become more and more isolated over time. They and their caregivers deserve so much better. That's why we are funding ongoing training for physicians across the country to better support people with profound autism and intense behaviors. 

The Profound Autism Alliance is funding ECHO Autism Intense Behaviors to expand physician expertise nationwide. Through virtual, case-based learning, community clinicians connect with leading experts, learn from real cases, and build practical skills they can use right away. Stats: 255 physicians trained, 2325 training hours, 41 states represented.
